2-D TM GPR Imaging Through a Multiscaling Multifrequency Approach in Lp Spaces

An iterative multiscaling approach for solving the electromagnetic inverse scattering problem related to imaging of shallow subsurface targets with ground-penetrating radar (GPR) is proposed. The combines zooming properties technique reconstruction capabilities an Inexact-Newton (IN) method developed in $L^{p}$ spaces. It based on multifrequency processing that allows one face ill-posedness by exploiting regularization a truncated Landweber (LW) method. Experimental data, extracted from radargrams obtained GPR real situation, are used validation. results also compared those competitive alternatives, such as standard IN or state-of-the-art Conjugate Gradient (CG)-based approach.
